PaxSoft Actions
PaxSoft Actions is a powerful and extensible mechanism for enhancing

publish data from one table to another system or table. You can set
up PaxSoft so that your own code is run (e.g. transferring data to a
new table) anytime the
PaxSoft action is fired.

PaxSoft Security model

PaxSoft HTML Editing component
A strong and versatile HTML editing component based that includes
and extensive list of
options and features to make it easy for your content management
team to work with online
documents. The component enables non-technical staff to publish rich
HTML documents
in a
browser-based editor that functionally resembles Microsoft Word -
without having to
understand how HTML works. You can even copy-paste fully formatted
text into the
component directly from any Windows based application. Furthermore
the HTML editing
component enables you to specify and automate the use of layout
templates for the
documents your users publish.
PaxSoft Image Crop Tool component
This component allows non-technical staff to publish images from any
local drive directly to
the database. You only have to select the image from any hard drive,
CD or network drive,
choose what part you wish to include and press OK.
The image does not have to be "web-ready". It could in fact be a 50
MB image ready for
print.
The component compresses the image so that your customers do not
have to experience
a
slow website due to heavy graphics.
The component even supports graphic overlay, and multiple sizes in
one batch - ideal for
creating thumbnails etc.
Open source
PaxSoft is based on PHP, CCS and AJAX and includes
complete source-code.
In other words a completely standardized and open product - and as
such you can change,
alter or modify the product as needed, and you can integrate
modules, features,
and
functions written by yourself or by a third-party vendor of your
choice.
System requirements
PaxSoft requires MySql Server. PaxSoft is shipped with support for any
Browser 6.x or higher - and can easily by customized to fit any other
database or intranet.

The content provider has limited
access - enforced with PaxSoft
permissions - and can only edit
content published by him self. The
introduction screen also provides
help texts to the appropriate tables
that the content provider can
publish data to. All this is
controlled directly with PaxSoft.

Adding pictures to your web
applications is done in an easy 3 -
step way.
1. After choosing the article you
want to add your picture in, click
the Add picture button.
2. Select a given picture from your
local hard disk, CD-ROM drive or
local network. The picture will be
displayed and the component
allows the user, by selecting a
region in the image, to crop the
picture.
3. The picture will be cropped and
saved in the right file format,
overlay graphics like borders etc.
will be added and the formatted
picture will be posted to the web
server in the resolution each image
template specifies.
Now the picture is displayed
online within your article in the
correct pre-formatted design.

PaxSoft is built using Open Source and runs
on a standard
MySql Server. The database can be any version of
MYSQL
Server 6.x or higher but can be costumed to fit any other databases.

data in formats
that can be implemented in other programs - for example Microsoft
Excel.
