Introduction

Paxsoft is a full featured online booking management application for the Explore and Joomla Open Source Content Management System. It is a full real time system designed to enable you to take bookings online for your property.

It was originally developed on behalf of a prospective client who ran a small hotel in South Wales, but since then it has been extensively modified to work within the Explore/Joomla framework to allow users to possess a completely integrated booking solution for their property website.

Although the basic idea revolves around the premise of booking hotel rooms it will happily manage anything that needs to be booked on a per-day basis. This includes holiday homes (in Paxsoft speak these are Single Room Properties, or SRPs. More on these later), boats, cars, pitches in a camp site etc.
